WELCOME
Do step through the gate and come in for a visit. Our critters enjoy visitors as much as we do.
My name is Linda and I will be your tour guide. Harold my husband and I live on a 98 acre farm in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the province of British Columbia,Canada. We share our farm with 50 llamas and 150 alpacas. A maremma herd guard dog, a 19 year old cat and two elderly miniature schnauzers also call this place home.
Our assistant herd manager Ken and wife Diane live on the property in another house.
I enjoy sculpting with clay and raku firing the pieces. Most of my work is one of a kind llama and alpaca sculptures. The ancient art of Raku firing, lends itself very well to these pieces. The glazes are transformed into rich colors with depth.
I started working with stained glass recently and find it an enjoyable pastime. Felting, knitting, fiber dyeing and spinning the fiber we shear from our llamas and alpacas are things I try to do, to acquaint myself with it's various uses.
Other interests include collecting snowbabies and miniature schnauzer ornaments. I also like growing tulips, daffodils and day lilies.
